About us – Stevenage Golf Club is a private golf club that is based at a municipal golf course – Stevenage Golf and Conference centre, offering some of the most challenging golf in Hertfordshire. Stevenage Golf Club has a thriving, lively membership including Men’s, Ladies, Junior and Senior sections. Membership is currently priced at just £50 per year.
We have a full calendar of Medal, Trophy and summer/winter League competitions. We also have a full programme of external NAPGC competitions as well as a regular Sunday knock. This means there is plenty of fun, challenging and competitive golf for our members as well as the opportunity to play against other local clubs. This includes everyone from our scratch team to our higher handicap members.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, value for money Club and for those reasons our membership numbers are increasing year on year. If you would like more details please email firstname.lastname@example.org and keep in touch by signing up to our mailing list on the home page.
We look forward to seeing you on the tee!
We are based at the Stevenage Golf and Conference in the picturesque village of Aston, on the outskirts of Stevenage. It’s an 18 hole golf course, designed by the legendary John Jacobs. It provides an interesting, challenging test of golf – one of the best rounds of golf in Hertfordshire. The signature hole is surely the 18th, a tricky par 4 that requires an accurate drive and then a second shot either side of a central tree and over a lake, into a small, thin green. Many a decent looking scorecard has been ruined here, so be content to score 5 and keep your round intact!
Facilities include driving range, Pro Shop, bar serving pretty decent food and a 9 hole par 3 course which many members take advantage of to keep their short game up to scratch. Stevenage Golf Club is affiliated to England Golf, Herts Golf Union and the NAPGC. All members receive a nationally recognised CONGU handicap certificate.
